Synopsis
At the end of the Bronze age a violent, sweeping migration took over the Mediterranean. Three migrating people row with their community to reach their new promised land, Philistia. Migrants and natives merge to become one. Goliath is killed. A pharaoh talks of the battle won against the raiding migrants. Generations later a final line of descendants are buried and gone, remembering the ghosts of their past, as invaders come and go, yet the same land persists on. Composition of music and movement, merging of elements and bond to the natural world, come together to investigate memory, the formation and destruction of the Philistines, and cycles of violence.

Synopsis
In 19th century Paris, France, La Salpêtrière became the epicenter for research on hysteria. The many thousands of women who resided in the hospital became the tools with which physicians grasped at a cure to this ailment that they believed plagued women alone. But in the name of progress, their ambition got lost and the initial intention of discovery in this research transformed into invention. Since then, the hospital and topic of female hysteria has been an area of academic, and of course, dramatic interest. Women of Abnormal Constitution resides at that intersection of dramatic exploration, disability, gender, and performance studies. This play is a dramatic exploration of who these women may have been inside the hospital and the extent to which its authorities were too concerned with surviving.
